BlitZ95TT may be a friend of Mitch's, but I would not trust a 3rd party at this point since he cannot cantact Mitch either. Call the police and don't listen to anyone except the shop and the police until you have an intelligent reason for someone to use your car without consent. The whole situation is unorthodox, trust the law to reolve the problem. If there is no foul play or no damage or changes to the car, then you do not have to press charges. But if there is damage, you must press charges to recover in the event you have to go to civil court. Without a prosecution, you have a weaker case, but still strong enough to go to court. Till you know the real reason why your cars was taken and believe the guy and the shop, go after them to document the actions and call your insurance company as well. Don't trust people who say they know Mitch until you have talked to the guy and have recovered your car. No disrespect towards BlitZ, but cannot trust Mitch's friends, trust what you know first, then after you know where your car is, then you can trust Mitch's friends.
